ICT Enabled Teaching & Learning

Virtual teaching and learning has become the norm now, but the teachers of Fatima College took to e-teaching a decade ago. ICT enabled pedagogy is used for effective, creative and innovative teaching.

          The infrastructure of the college supports ICT based teaching-learning as all classrooms are ICT enabled, the campus being Wi-Fi enabled. There is an E-content Laboratory and Recording Studio to support the digital culture of Fatima College.

          Learning Management System is in the developmental stage and will be implemented in the academic year 2021-2022. As a part of integrated communication, students are asked to join WhatsApp group for sharing information and notes. All course teachers have their WhatsApp Groups.

BLENDED LEARNING:
      • Blended learning is part of teaching-learning, adding novelty to the teaching-learning process by keeping alive the creativity of the staff to enthuse the learning of the students.
      • Videos, online lectures by staff and documentaries produced by the students are uploaded in YouTube Channel / College Website.
      • The unit Dynamism is incorporated in most courses under OBE. This encourages self-study and use of web-sources.
FATIMA ONLINE AND DIGITAL EDUCATION (FONDE)
      • To facilitate students from the Arts discipline comprehend the basics of Science and students from the Science discipline comprehend the basics of Arts, Online Foundation Course is mandated for all I year undergraduates. This course helps them develop their self-learning skills and go beyond their subject domain.
      • Students are made aware of suitable online courses and are encouraged to enroll for MOOCs and NPTEL courses.
