1. MISSION

To transfer the knowledge of Chemistry with values to create globally competent chemists.

To facilitate the development of extraordinary skills in handling all laboratory equipments.

To inculcate in them the skills of problem solving.

To create in them the awareness about ecological threats and to train to adopt cost effective and eco-friendly methodologies.

2. OBJECTIVES

Promote innovative, comprehensive and relevant curriculum development while exposing students to advanced instrumentation and technology.

Foster multi-disciplinary curriculum development such as Biochemistry, Natural Product chemistry, Environmental Science, Polymer chemistry, Forensic Science, Medicinal chemistry etc

Encourage community service by providing community-based research opportunities.

Act as mentors to students by guiding them in research line and counselling them to become healthy social being.

Demonstrating Green, Safe and Effective laboratory practices.

        Activities

:

Apart from guest lectures in recent trends in chemistry, the students organize various competitions such as chemistry Quiz, chem-speed, chem-charades, just a minute and paper presentation in chemistry topics among themselves. To encourage the participations, the winners of these competitions are awarded prizes and certificates during association valedictory function.
