Human Rights are almost a form of religion in today’s world. Human Rights are the great ethical yardstick that is used to measure a government’s treatment of its people. Justice and peace can become a reality when human rights are acknowledged, respected and promoted. Individuals cannot attain their full potential if they are denied their legitimate rights. However these Human Rights are totally ignored and violated today. With this commitment to uphold the rights and dignity of the human beings, the Human rights cell was setup in July 2007 in our College.

VISION :

      • The vision of the cell is to have the focal point for Human Rights practice in the campus and to be accessible to everyone.

MISSION :

      • By supporting each other in and out of the college campus through the awareness of Human Rights and protection of Human Rights by monitoring and accessing the observance of human rights through education and training the students on human rights issues.

OBJECTIVES :

      • To promote Human Rights culture.
      • To raise awareness of human rights issues.
      • To educate and train the students on Human Rights.
      • To provide accurate and timely information about Human Rights Violation in India.

ACTIVITIES :

      • To organize ‘Peace Rally’ every alternate years.
      • To form Human Chain and organize Cycle Rally to create awareness in and around the neighbourhood.
