1. SINGLE ENTRY
- Allows first hand contact with the books on the shelf.
2. DIGITAL GATE ENTRY
- To ensure proper use of library, gate entry monitoring system is used for entry and exit.
3. RFID
- Our Rosa Mystica library is the first academic college library in Tamil Nadu installed RFID technology. RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) is the latest technology to be used in library theft detection systems. RFID-based systems move beyond security to become tracking systems that combine security with more efficient tracking of materials throughout the library, including easier and faster charge and discharge, inventorying, and materials handling
4. ISSUE & RETURN OF RESOURCES
- Issue and return of resources is done through application of barcode technology at the Transaction Counter.
5. RULES & REGULATIONS
- Perfect silence inside the Library.
- No personal belongings attended inside the library other than a few writing sheets.
- Materials to be handled carefully.
- Theft, mutilation and misuse of library materials would be considered as a criminal act and the disciplinary committee of the college would take appropriate action.
- The borrower herself should return books.
- Sub-leading of books and ID is forbidden.
- Check out of journals, Magazines, back volumes of journals not allowed.
- Damaged books to be brought to the attention of a library staff.
- If a book is not returned in good condition or lost, replacement of the same is required.
- THE COST OF THE BOOK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
