The role of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in preparing the students for future is becoming more challenging than ever. They are involved in a continuous quest for excellence. With quality checks from accreditation and assessment Councils like NAAC the HEIs have no other option than to keep striving hard and steering forward setting new benchmarks for themselves. Teacher quality, Student Profile, Curriculum Development, Teaching methodology are areas which have to receive focus when Quality initiatives are taken in HEIs. Lot of revamping, reforming, revising have to be done to sync with the paradigm shifts happening in Higher Education.
