Our aim is to help people become more efficient and to help bring balance to their inner and outer environments in order to help them into a greener future. We will encourage open dialogue, new ideas, innovation and imagination from all members of our green club.

To explore, enjoy, and protect the earth; To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth’s ecosystems and resources; To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment. The Green Club values environmental integrity, commitment and courage.

OBJECTIVES

Educate members about environmental issues and topics of conservation.

Bring students and faculty members together to discuss pressing ecological issues and host events.
|

Volunteer/Assist in “green” campus initiatives.

Motivate the students to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees.

Promote ethos of conservation of water by minimizing the use of water.
|
|
|
Motivate students to imbibe habits and life style for minimum waste generation, source separation of waste and disposing the waste to the nearest storage point.

|
Sensitize the students to minimize the use of plastic bags.
|
|
|
Organize tree plantation programmes, awareness programmes such as Quiz, essay, painting competitions, etc. regarding various environmental issues and educate children about re-use of waste material & preparation of products out of waste.

To create awareness among students, corporate and general public to get involved in various activities like massive tree plantations, developing green lung areas, debates, quiz programs, painting and also training to become role models for fellow citizens.
