R. Chandrakani and R. Revathy of I MA Economics won prizes in Milton Friedman Centenary Celebrations organised by Lady Doak College.

Jenny Infanta Sylivia, I M.Sc. Physics and Arthy, I B.Sc. Home Science are awarded I & II prizes respectively in the Elocution competition organized by Tamil Nadu Kalai Ilakkia Perumandram, Madurai.

Sakthi Lavanya, II B.Sc. Physics received a Silver Medal in the Thirukural Examination at State Level organised by world Thirukkural Peravai.

Arthi Krishnan, II BA History won the I Prize in Essay Writing and II Prize in Hindi Reading competition organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Madurai.

T. Dharsana, II B.Sc. Zoology received Illaya Bharathi Award 2012 at the State Level competition organized by Kaviarasar Kalai Tamil Sangam, Namakkal.

Malar Meenakshi, I B.Sc. Zoology won the I Prize in Slogan Writing Competition organized by NCC Unit, Madurai.

A. R. Jenifer, III BA English participated in the Indian Student Parliament (Third Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad) organized by MAEER’S MIT School of Government.

Nisha Vinnarasi, II BA English received the Best Volunteer of the camp in the Pre-Republic Day Parade Camp, Bangalore.

M. Pavithra and R. Ragavi, III B.Sc. Computer Science, won the First prize for  presenting a paper on Artificial Neural Networks at Lady Doak College, Madurai.

S. Sheeba Jenifer, III B.Sc. Computer Science attended an International Youth Conference 2012 organised by International Association of Religious Freedom, London, in association with the Angelo Province of the Institute of the Broers of the Sacred Heart India.

The BBA students won the Overall Shield in the Intercollegiate Meet BUSIECLAT – 2012 organised by Sermathai Vasan College, Madurai.

T. Tamil Ilakiya, II MA Tamil won I Prize in Verse Writing and J. Aruna, I BA Tamil won II Prize in Essay Writing organized by ANJAC- Extension Services.

Shylaja received I Prize for presenting a paper on Abatement Pollution at Thiyagarajar College, Madurai.

9 students of II BA English (SF) presented and published papers On Obesity in a National Seminar organized by Annammal College and Govt. Medical College, Tuticorin.

Runners up Shield in Arcadia held at Lady Doak College, Madurai.

Runners up Shield in Fantasia’13 at VHNS College, Virudhu  Nagar.
