Theme Based Competitions
General Rules

  • Participants from each college must be accompanied by at least one woman staff. Only women participants are allowed.
  • Both UG and PG students can participate.
  • Only One Team per college is allowed.
  • The maximum number of participants per college is limited to 40.
  • A nominal registration fee of Rs.200 will be charged per head, inclusive of lunch.
  • It is mandated for the participants to wear their ID cards on campus.
  • The judge's decision is final; any arguments against the decisions will lead to disqualification.
  • The rules and regulations for individual events have been attached and should be strictly followed.
  • All events which require audio or video tracks are to be brought in CD format. Pen drives are not allowed.
  • The organisers of Springs 2K19 reserve the rights to amend all the rules and regulations in the general interest of the participants without prior intimation.
  • It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure that timings of the events that they participate in do not clash.
  • The participants are expected to report at the allotted venue within fifteen minutes after the commencement of the event.
  • The last date for sending the Registration Proforma is 13 September 2019.
  • Travelling and Dearness Allowance will not be provided.
ART INSCRIBE (Pencil Sketch)

    Time Limit 1 hour
    Criteria for Judgement Originality, creativity, neatness and relevance to the topic.
    RULES:
  • The topic will be given on the spot.
  • Standard A3 sheet should be used.
  • Only HB pencils and color pencils should be used.
FILM- LET (Short Film)

    Number of Participants 4 - 6 per team
    Time Limit 5 mins
    Criteria for Judgement Innovation, correct depiction of the scene, originality,quality and relevance to the theme.
    RULES:
  • The film must be enacted by the participants.
  • The film should be brought on CD.
  • All participants should be present.
  • Participants should be ready to clarify the concept, if necessary.
POETERS PROSODY (Versification)

    Time Limit 1 hour
    Criteria for Judgement Originality, poetic style and relevance to the theme.
    RULES:
  • The topic will be given on the spot.
  • Word limit: 100.
  • Language: ENGLISH.
MINI MANICURE (Nail Art)

    Number of Participants 2 per team
    Time Limit 1 hour
    Criteria for Judgement Creativity, perfection and relevance to the theme.
    RULES:
  • The design must be done only on one hand.
  • Required materials must be brought by the participants.
  • Artificial nails are not allowed.
RAY OF RADIANCE (Rangoli)

    Number of Participants 2 per team
    Time Limit 1 hour
    Criteria for Judgement Design, Uniqueness, 3D effect and relevance to the theme
    RULES:
  • Participants are expected to bring the required materials.
  • Salt, Sand and Flowers should not be used.
  • Only kolam powder should be used.
  • IT must be a 3D art.
TIGHT- LIPPED SHOW (Mute Show)

    Number of Participants 4 - 6 per team
    Time Limit 5 mins
    Criteria for Judgement Innovation, correct depiction of the scene, team work, expression and relevance to the theme.
    RULES:
  • Lip movements, props and dialogues are not allowed.
  • Any obscene or offensive action will result in disqualification.
  • Background music should only be Karaoke
THE QUEEN OF MELORS (Fashion Parade)

    Time Limit 2 mins
    Criteria for Judgement Overall personality, spontaneity, presence of mind and costume in line with theme.
    RULES:
  • Round 1: Costume Display includes hairstyle and make-up.
  • Round 2: Personality test.
SYMPHONY (Orchestra)

    Number of Participants 5 per team
    Time Limit 3 mins
    Criteria for Judgement Creativity, Innovation and relevance to the theme.
    RULES:
  • Participants cannt use Karaoke.
  • Instruments can only be used.
  • The song must be relevant to the theme.
  • Vulgarity in words leads to disqualification.
SHUTTER BUG (Photography)

    Time Limit 3 hours
    Criteria for Judgement Clarity,innovation and relevance to the topic.
    RULES:
  • Topic will be given at the time of registration.
  • Participants should bring their camera or mobile phones.
  • Photos should be taken on the spot inside the college premises.
  • Photo should be given with date, time and catchy caption.
  • Time to take photograph 9.30 to 11.30.
  • Submission time: 11.30 to12.00
LIKE AND SHARE (Digital Poster Making)

    Number of Participants 1 per team
    Time Limit 1 hour
    Criteria for Judgement Round I: Number of likes
    Round II: Creativity, clarity and relevance to the topic.
    RULES:
  • Topic : "Colors : A Non-verbal Language".
  • Design a Digital Poster of A4 size using Photoshop.
  • Include a Title in the poster to describe its significance.
  • The poster should be relevant to the theme, otherwise it will be disqualified.
  • One poster is allowed per team.
  • Create a text file containing participant's name, department , Class, College name, mail-id and mobile number(whatsApp)
  • Send your poster in jpeg format and the text file to our mail id: fcsprings2k19@gmail.com.
  • Deadline to send your poster is 12/09/2019.
  • Your image will be uploaded in our college website on 13/09/2019.
  • The link (URL) of your poster will be sent to your mail/ mobile on 14/09/2019.
  • You can share this link to others to get likes.
  • SEVEN posters that secure maximum number of likes will be considered for the next round of judgement.
  • Likes will be taken into consideration up to 19/09/2019 till 3pm.
