M. Pyara was selected to attend the Junior National Kabaddi Coaching Camp at Mumbai in August 2009. She was selected to represent India in the Junior South Asian International Kabaddi Tournament at Malaysia held from August 25 – 29, 2009. She held a prestigious position as she was the only player selected from Tamil Nadu to represent the Indian team. She had brought Laurels to Fatima College proud by winning the Gold Medal.
